We've been traveling in Egypt for the past month. Despite all the warnings and dire predictions we heard regarding the middle east and their dislike/hatred of Americans, we found little animosity. Perhaps it was below the surface and neither of us were sensitive to the "frequency" . That may be true for me in just about any situation but Martha is ultra sensitve and would have noticed. Be that as it may, our trip was an adventure of the highest magnitude (relatively speaking, for us). We remained healthy, despite eating in local workingclass places and partaking in the street food and fresh juice stands. We spent about $5k for the whole month, including airfare.
